Miami's Wynwood Walls, formerly a scrappy warehouse district, has been transformed into a cool and hip art park thanks to the genius of the property owner. The owner offered the outside of the mundane industrial buildings to international artists who plastered them with bold murals and street art. A corner warehouse was transformed into a restaurant, the Wynwood Kitchen & Bar. The 4,000 square-foot interior and 1,000 square-foot patio sport vibrant abstract murals that keep in tune with the surrounding park. Since the transformation, the area now attracts 700 artists and art lovers during their monthly gallery walks and is now becoming known for their A-list parties during Art Basel Miami Beach.
