I happened upon this website while searching for painted furniture, which is one of my favorite home decor items.  The website is cottagechicstore.com, and they have a HUGE variety of painted furniture, as well as other decor and accessories.  If the technique is done correctly, paint gives furniture a comfortable shabby chic look.  It will brighten up any room and add much character.
